Greetings from the Regional Coordinator!
Greetings, salutations and a warm Southern "Yee-Haw!" Welcome to Region Two of STARFLEET International, the home of the 2006 Chapter of the Year and 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2009 Commanding Officer of the Year.
Region Two covers the south eastern corner of the United States; from the banks of the Mississippi to the Florida Everglades to the hot deep south of Alabama to the cool breezes on the Georgia coast bringing together the best of Trek fans to be found anywhere.
Chapters in Region Two are all vital clubs active in their communities, publishing some of the best newsletters and websites and are always getting together for conventions, cookouts, summit and any other reason for a good party.
Take a look around our website and get to know us. I think you see why we call ourselves:

Major General Oliver Savander SR RRO R2 Region 2 Flag Officer of the Year, 2011 What happens in five days, you may ask? (Though if you have to ask, I'm going to a assume you haven't been paying attention.) In five days -- on September 1, 2014 -- these things will happen: 1) Entries will close for the Star Trek: Axanar drawing. If you were a supporter of the recent Kickstarter project, please forward the "Thank you" email you received on August 24 to firstname.lastname@example.org to be entered in the drawing. 2) "Prelude to Axanar" reviews are due for the CQ! Not only will you see your name in print, if you've entered the Axanar drawing, you'll get a second entry. Reviews should be around 500 words or fewer, and sent to email@example.com. 3) Everything else is due for CQ 180! Did you have a great time at IC? Did your chapter or region recently have a cool event? Do you have an interesting (or controversial!) idea about the way STARFLEET does things? We're interested in all of these things, so please submit them to firstname.lastname@example.org by September 1. As always, please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
